The Treatment Process
How it Works

Injection
The thin needle is to inject JUVÉDERM® Ultra XC into areas of concern, usually the lips, the mouth area, and around the nose. This delivers nutrients, hydrates the skin, and helps add volume to the treatment site. Patients may feel pressure or a tingling sensation during injection, but this is temporary. Once injections are completed, patients are cleared to go home.
Recovery
Smoother, fuller skin can be seen immediately. Some patients experience bruising, redness, tenderness, tightness, swelling, bumps, itching, or discoloration. Side effects should be mild to moderate and reduce within one week. You may resume all daily activities immediately following your injection.
Scars
Tiny needles are used, so scarring is not typically associated with injectables.
